hi,

could you please provide a tutorial for personal livery, with filename; size; format for each part : livery, wheel, fresnel, chrome, brilliant, mat ? stuff like that.
filename are new in Project Cars 2.

All these files don't exist in custom liveries directory, so what are new filenames ? Still same filename, i doubt !?
so, i don't know how to do a complete car (livery, wheels, fresnel, chrome)...

I start to fear that You don't get the opportunity with fresnel, spec e.t.c. There is noisy silence around this subject. The reason I bought Project Cars 2 was the possibility of making liveries with my preferred cars and without fresnel I can't make my favorite car (Aston Martin GTE #95)

i would prefer to see "SMSoon TM", instead of nothing. for me, this part is not finished. Out 22nd september, but not finish. Remember first opus, sadly. i hope some good news very Soon !

So your asking if you can change the shader/material settings ? I'd suspect the answer is you cannot, as they are buried in the codebase.

I too would be very glad and grateful if SMS would let users use fresnel just like it was the case with PC1. Custom liveries look so flat without those details :(

Help is needed on how to run a script/tool.. I'm really acting like a noob to set up a Linux environment. If you can offer some help, please send me a message.

I might be able to help, just drop me a message with what you need and I'll take a look (probably not before the weekend though). What's in the upper left corner? :P Could this enable us to use spec/fresnel maps? :) Oh and I also speak german if you prefer that language.

(Aiming for Thursday night as private life has to be priority number at all times - something the LP livery just made me think of again)

Well, of course you're right, but the information isn't exactly user friendly as it is work in progress for now. I haven't decided on how to proceed from there yet.

For leagues, singe classes might be interesting, tool not necessarily needed if one user manages the package and provides it to the league members.
For "livery messies" like myself (who have stored hundreds of liveries of PC1) all old cars might be interesting and the copy+paste method should be sufficient to just get the liveries into the game.
For “screenshotters“, a tool might not be needed as you have to add tires, banners, etc by hand anyway; but, of course, every single car could be of interest.

No idea how many users are interested, no idea of there will be any hurdles to overcome, no idea if there will be steps to prevent stuff, no idea if SMS will introduce mods.txt again and make those hours of work needed obsolete..
