Does the buttkicker 2 use telemetry while using simvibe, like the mini LFE does? Barnacules Nerdgasm made the comment that the buttkicker 2 uses only audio, so he bought 5 mini LFEs...but I can't confirm this anywhere.

Thanks

Simvibe turns telemetry in to sound for your buttkicker or any vibration device so what device you use should not matter

Barnacules is wrong.

I use a Butt Kicker Gamer 2 with SimVibe, and it uses telemetry...

That is good to know. He did say there was an improvement using simvibe so I don't know why the comment he said.

Is one model better than the other? Which should I get? I'm starting with 1, and hoping that is all i need/want.

It all depends on what you are attaching it to.... The Buttkicker Gamer2 transducer is mainly geared for chairs, but it can work well on most sim rigs. If you are using a rig, depending on the size and material it's built with, you may want something stronger than the Gamer2.

I'm going to mount it under a car seat which has a metal contoured bottom, and also the rails that it mounts on a wooden frame of 2x12" wood. Eventually i want an obuntto or something like that, but that can wait.

Did anyone try this Gametrix JetSeat with PC2 yet? Is it good?

I hope someone comes on and says it's rubbish otherwise I might have to invest in a decent PC.

Also I have some rubber bumper material, (like used in the PT1 pedals, except larger diameter), that I can mount between my car seat and the wooden frame. That will isolate the rumble until I get a GT Omega Art (#1 choice for now).

Okay I did it and ordered this JetSeat. Today it arrived. Tried it and it works like a charm in PC2! Wonderful experience in addition to my Oculus Rift. Thank you for pointing me at this incredible product!

Sorry but I'm a bit skeptical. That thing looks so uncomfortable. You sure you're not trying to sell them?

edit: skeptical, not susceptible...spell check
