Nice setup but you need to get your wheel closer to the screen for even more immersion

Thank you for the tip but i Play from the hood camera and this is the right distance to feel more realistic. I don't understand the 90% Who Play from the inside camera, they lose all the speed feeling but this is depending from the players opinion.

Ah OK fair enough.

Yeah I'm one of the 90% then as I always use helmet cam with no helmet and have the wheel nearly touching the screen (so no need for the games steering wheel)
I find the sense of speed OK for me.

I used to play exclusively from the bonnet cam, but once I got used to cockpit view, I just couldn’t go back.

Not Pcars 2, but a pic of my rig. I’m saving up for a raceseat ATM, do you have any trouble with the butt kicker/PS4 combo?

No problem at all. It is connected with my sub (In front of the petals if you can see from the pictures) and it gives you the feeling of the Road, kerbs, kick of the changing gears and generaly change the feeling of the game. I believe if you don't have a motion setup this is the closest for realism.

Yeah I wish I could put it closer to the screen as well. Unfortunately My 55inch screen does stand on a cabinet as well and therefore I canít put it closer to the screen.
With VR you do not have this problem. ;)

Fantastic. I might need to save a smidge longer and do it right.

If it was €4.40 I might be able to manage that :(

If you can't afort a gaming seat there are a lot of instructions on the net how to make one on your own.

I would of thought SMS would treat you to a VR headset as a thanks for the hard work you have done moderating the forums all these years.:)

I so very much need a rig better than my 78' Cadillac bench seat (adjustable movie seat) with a wheel on tubular frame attached (food tray) set up.

Nice. Are those stickers on top of a regular number keypad? I am planning on adding a USB number pad to my setup and want to have labelled buttons but haven't been able to source any.
