Hi all, I have had a couple of crashes in pc2 recently and when it happens I get some bug splat error reports, I have never seen this before. Is bug splat some program that is linked to pc2?

Yes, it sends game crash data to SMS for analysis.

Ah, okay thanks, I was worried it wasn't legit.

Aww how disappointing, I was hoping to see SMS had added insect flight models with windscreen smear physics.

Lol. I've thought for some time that a disgusting smear suddenly appearing on the windscreen would aid immersion. That plus a gallon of oil appearing on the windscreen as the car in fronts engine lets go..
Fyi I've been getting random crashes with bug splat as well. Normally around menu to and from garage etc. Didn't bother reporting it here.

Make sure if it happens to you (all) to try and detail the steps you took until the crash as much as possible

I understand your concerns (even if it's meant to improve the game) but you can just block it in your firewall.

I also saw this a couple of times last week, and was worried that I had some sort of malware.
Phew!
