View Full Version : RX setups for Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI TME & Evo IX

I started to analyse the setups of our existent RX cars and tried to turn the Lancer Evo VI TME and Evo IX into RX cars. They are about 100 kg heavier than the WRX cars and have much less power. So it's even more important to initiate the drift before the corner because simple power oversteer is nearly impossible and you'll end up with massive understeering.

- The Evo VI TME feels much more agile but due to less power and no rear axle disconnect on the handbrake, you better initiate drifts by flicking the car.
- The Evo IX feels much heavier, though it's actually only 40 kg heavier than the Evo VI (the FFB is much stronger as well). However, more power and especially the rear axle disconnect on the handbrake help to get it drifiting.

Anyway, I'm not unhappy with the result so far! It's amazing how differently those cars drive. Here's a short video with impressions of the result:
