View Full Version : Numbnuts guides to diffs (drifting)

I've been more interested as of late to try and get my head around drifting some of the cars. I was trying with the AMG merc c63 and I just can't seem to get the rear diff to behave.

Couple of things. I wasn't sure what diff was what (spooled, geared, ratcheting) etc and I can't get my head around the descriptions for any of the diff settings

I understand what a diff is and how it works but I don't understand what I need to be using to make a car thats drifts. Messing around with the merc for ages it always seemed to have open diff properties ( traction and stability set to off of course).

Thank you
