Hey, somehow I have broken this car and can't seem to fix it. When I start my first lap I have between 307/309 horsepower but on the start of my 2nd lap the horsepower will suddenly drop 40 to 50 horsepower or more. I can't come close to my previous TT time(1/20/2018) using my own shared setup. I have tried opening the radiator duct but didn't have to this previously and it didn't help. Now this is a problem on 2 tracks.

pretty sure this car has KERS. Are you using it accidentally on the first lap?

You have to compare HP at the same RPM btw...

Power is a function of torque and RPM. Similar torque at lower RPM means lower HP.

It does. Yet I'm pretty certain that it should have 300 hp without KERS / P2P and 340ish with P2P.

And addtionally, Bealdor is right. Drive in th gear with the same speed in the 2nd lap, your HP will most likely be the same as in the first lap.
I didn't even know Eel's had hawkeyes. :p

Nope, my foot is all the way on the gas, it just quits, bang(a noticeable thump) after the start finish and keeps going down from there all the way down into the 240's as I run more laps. It won't pull more rpms. EDIT. But, thanks to you guys I was able to figure it out, the bang was it dropping to sixth gear. Somehow my saved tune for my TT run had corrupted the gears and once I sorted that out I improved my previous PB. THANKS!! I programmed the KERS to a button on my Fanatec but it does nothing so maybe I need to try a keyboard instead? Any way happy now.

Ok, I was also able to get the KERS working on a different track, first I tried a keyboard number and it worked and then I programmed a different button on the wheel and that worked. So I pick up about 40 horsepower and was able to cut over 1.5 seconds off my time, it is a matter of when to hit the button, I ran out of energy on the last corner and ended in 2nd 0.019 out of 1st because I dropped to 309 horsepower on the run up to start/finish. Thanks.

EDIT, timed it better, now 1st by 0.039, thanks.

This is the Rolex fenching before turn 3 on the Daytona Tri Oval during your 1st lap, hit the KERS about 3 sections into this and you should make it to the start/finish on your 2nd and fastest lap if you are going fast enough. Basically you don't want to be short or have too much left over.
