GEF-GAMING.DE GT3 MASTERS #02
250071

GEF-GAMING.DE (http://www.gef-gaming.de) is a multi gaming community with a little Project Cars 2 league and community.

We are searching for some drivers. The Cup is running since 2 rounds (max 13 rounds) but we had some leaving drivers.
So, why racing with us?

We have a little cool website and forum
We are reviewing the races in replay and give penalties (point loss, start from last position) for bad driving / provoke crashes etc.
We have a cool little community with a discord server and a steamgroup
We want to drive serious but at first it has to be fun!
Updated Stages scoreboard, final driver / team scoreboard and simresults log for every round
We are constantly reading the forum and workaround possible bugs (If weather sync is not working we set the weather to clear, if championship mode not working properbly we use the dedicated server etc.)
We help every member with problems (technical, driving, setups etc.)
Team Driving! :)

We are currently 14 (safe) - 17 drivers.

Some notes
Everybody is welcome.... but please keep in mind that the skill/racing level must be roughly in the same range. :)
So, if you drive every track 5 secs faster than all others guys... then its maybe not your level.
As a reference i can write some laptimes:

Hockenheim GP: 1:39.555 (Bestime by 2 drivers) - 1:43 (Patch 4.0)
Bathurst: 2:08 - 2:14 (Patch 3.0)
Fuji: 1:39 - 1:43 (Patch 3.0)
Nürburgring 1:58 - 2:03 (Patch 3.0)

Timezone & Country
Our timezone and dates are UTC+1
We are mainly based in germany but have some guys from England, Turkey, Denmark etc.
So mainly Central europe. US / Australia etc. is not working because of high pings.

Please test your ping to Frankfurt here:
http://www.meter.net/ping-test/
Under "View additional test points" you can change to Frankfurt

Hi,

even if the masters had started already, we have enough races left for you to still joining us ;) so don't be shy ^^

Argh.. F it... Beginner's mistake.. I left the session unintentionally after qualifying. There are like 100 hundred confirmations needed in the game, but you can leave the server between Q and race start with one single click. Honestly.. I was spectating the start and wanted to go then: confirmation needed. You have to confirm you do not longer want to watch a race, but you can leave the server with one click..

In the end, it's still my own fault.. But, c'mon...

Not sure if I can attend next week, I'll be skiing before

I was wondering why you disconnect. :)

Maybe next (next next) race :)

So what is your definition of a high ping. Just curious. Thanks.

So what is your definition of a high ping.

Over 120-150 i think. :D

Difficult to say but often the ping from europe to US as an example is round about 150 i think? Maybe 150 is still to high. If someone is interested in the cup, we can make a little testrace. Just message me or add me via steam.

Thanks. Measured mine from Texas and it averaged 125ms. FPS games do fine with this type of ping but I don't know if its a problem in PC2. Don't know how a test race would work but I'd be happy to assist if you want. Opening things up ping wise may help your league participation. Right now your excluding half the planet with ping restriction.

Maybe 125ms is ok. Just add me on steam (neslane) and we make a little test the next days or later.

Yeah, but if someone is constantly teleporting over the track its not helpfull for other players. :D
