I can’t wait to get my VR setup, just fed up of waiting for a 1080ti!

All he explains is exactly why I can't be fed up with my setup in PC2. Almost the Holy Grail ! It's the closest thing to the real deal.

not to mention cost savings.

A half decent monitor for a trippel screen setup would easily cost twice that of a rift.
And you would need three of them.
SLI isn't a thing for VR and not close to becoming a thing either.
So get the biggest beefiest GPU you (I know the market is insane, ifaic crypto mining should be illegal)

Just the savings on screens alone could put you 2k closer to a motion rig.

Only thing wrong with that piece is he's only using the second best sim available for VR. Thanks for posting, enjoyed watching it.

Is this the same Scott Mansell, who raced in the EuroBOSS series, in the early 2000's?

Just can second that

I always Switch from Time to Time over to AC just to find out again and again that i feel more in PC2
Just imagine he would have had the option to race PC2. :)

Someone send him a copy. I'd love to get his input on the Radical in VR in PC2. He had another video on sim vs real racing where his criticism was the lack of evolving track conditions. While PC2 doesn't model the track to his exacting criticisms (fuel and oil on track), it's class leader in changing track conditions.

Yesterday had a race at Donnington where it was snow conditions but clear day. The racing line was slowly being carved out each lap. If you veered off the racing line even slightly, you could feel the lack of grip progress the more you moved off the line. Just highlights the amazing technology behind LiveTrack 3.0.

I think I saw one of his videos where he had a go on PC2, but I remember thinking from watching the video that he hadn't got it set up quite right, and I don't think he was 'feeling it' so to speak. He's a good presenter anyway, and seems to know his stuff.

If you look at the left glove at 58-59 secs, it has Assetto Corsa.
