Does anyone know if the PlayStation camera can be used to move the fov via headtracking? VR is too much money at the moment!

If you mean the PS3Eye camera, then yes. You can either use something like FaceTrackNoIR, or build an active-LED system like me and run through OpenTrack to achieve similar results to TrackIR. Takes a little bit of scratchbuilding know-how though, unless you want to buy a premade track clip like the Delan Clip (http://http://www.delanengineering.com/).

Not that up to speed on scratch building anything, but would this work on PS4?

Can you run a software in the backgorund to pickup the head movement on the PS4? I don't think so.

I meant is there anyway to do this on PS4 without going for VR?

I know what you meant. But you cannot run a software in the background on the PS4, that picks up the camera, or am I wrong there? As there are games around picking up motion controllers this is most probably coded into the game, and I doubt PCARS has this except for VR.

Thanks for reply. Would be great if they’d add this feature. Need more buttons on wheel to have enough spare for camera movement.

Sorry, I didn’t notice your post was specifically in the PS4 forum. The solutions I mentioned above only work to my knowledge if you’re a PC user.
