I am thinking of upgrading my Thrustmaster tx Italia 458 (the original one) to the Thrustmaster ts-xw. Does anyone know if this would be significant upgrade and secondly is this wheel supported in game?

Thanks in advance

Yes and yes. Search the forum for a post where a few of us who have one were talking about it. I actually have two of them because I had to send mine back to them to fix a firmware issue and I didn't want any downtime. You can probably find the post in my history if the search doesn't work. Let me know if you can't find it and I can find it when I'm not on my phone.

Thanks. There was another one too I just found where I gave a more detailed review - http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?59809-Thrustmaster-TS-XW-Racer-Sparco-310-on-Xbox-One

There are some more people starting to get them lately that I've seen. The guy who does Actrollvision was using one recently. If you look on his twitch channel (https://m.twitch.tv/actrollvision/profile) at the latest Xbox videos you can see him using it. I'm not sure if he's talked in detail about it.

Not hijacking your thread, but on a similar note:

I have been thinking of changing my TX LE to a Fanatec wheel, but keep putting it off thinking that it will just be a minor upgrade for around a 1,000.

I can't accommodate a DD wheel atm, even though I have two play seats, I have no room anymore, so I mount the wheel on my desk, otherwise one would have been ordered by now :(
I went from a g25 to g920 (identical aside from buttons etc) then to a TX LE which was a major upgrade in my eyes, recently I also switched out my g25 pedal CSV3's and they are great, once I got them somewhat stable on the floor.

I just can't convince myself to press the buy button on the Fanatec wheel :)

Has anybody gone from a TX to CS wheel and is it worth it?

I also don't get the configurator, I find their website confusing specifically the wheel selection.
On one hand, it starts with a forza branded wheel at 129.95, then under Steering wheels, the GT wheel is 479.00, but under accessories its 129.95 ??
Does this mean the one under Wheels has the universal hub and the one under accessories does not? Plus there's the CSL Elite just to make matters worse, and no leather GT wheel like the forza one, GRRR

I should have started my own thread... sorry

No need Fanatec for this game, Thrustmaster and Logitech products are very valid.

That was my ride. Today I live happy at half price.

Exactly, the 479.00 price is including the Universal Hub.
If you already have the Universal Hub, you can buy additional wheel rims, without hub, for 129.95.

Well g29 is 2 torque, T-GT is 6 newton torque. That's basically it. Feels a little more heavy. TS-XW is said to be the same as T-GT.
I think it's worth it, because I play allot, and I just enjoy a little more physical feel of it.
