As small of a change it is.. something needs to be done about the Carrera GT exhaust sound! They’ve taken the V10 sound from the huracan and slammed it into the Porsche. These are two comepletely different animals and the Carrera GT’s Engine needs to be represented as it should be. If a legendary car of that caliber is to be added into the game (don’t get me wrong, I’m very glad it has been added as they need more road cars) then it needs to be done correctly. Post here any other Exhaust notes that needs to be canged.

Porsche 911 RSR GTE has been improved with latest update, however could use some improvement in the higher rpm range. With other gt3/gte cars transmission whine could be improved a bit.

other exhaust changes? ok. easy: Nissan GT-R GT3, Renault RS-01(sould sound the same as the Nissan GT-R GT3) and McLaren F1 GTR(actually sounds the same as the BMW V12 LMR. the stock McLaren F1 has the correct sound. why not the race one?)

They both have the same engine, but they don't sound the same.

yeah, the RS 01 is less bassy than the GT-R GT3 because of the exhaust. but still, it sounds like a V8 in PC2. it should be softer and the Nissan GTR-GT3 sounds just like the road car in PC2 so… I don't think that the sound is quite correct on the Nissan

They doesn't sound the same, but not that much different either. Both have smooth, low sound typical to many twin turbo V6 race engines with separate exhausts for each cylinder banks. Using the sound from RS01 would be much more accurate than what the GTR GT3 currently has in PCars 2.

I'd like to add McLaren 650S GT3 to the list. It would be much better, if the sounds were taken from McLaren P1, for example.

The sound isn't completely accurate, but it resembles a twin-turbo V6.

The sound is taken from the road car, but edited to be little more aggressive & "racey" IIRC. Yes, it resembles TT V6 engine. However, the issue is how the exhaust layouts are. I believe the road car has rear exhaust with likely either X or H-pipe, where the cylinder banks are connected, which gives a howling high pitched sound somewhat similar to V12 engines. The racecar on the other hand have separate exhausts, so it sounds sort of calm or smooth (not necessarily quiet), like most of modern racing prepped TT V6 engines.

That is the reason, why the RS01 (or Acura NSX GT3, or Caddy GT3 etc.) sound would be more accurate than the sound GTR GT3 has now.
