Since the patch update I struggle with oversteer on the Ferrari 488 gt3. I have little knowledge of advanced race tuning. Maybe someone can give me help for a base setup . Currently trying to get sugo sports land to work with the car. Any suggestions or links for the tuning after patch 5.0?

Sorry you are having trouble, many people are though. On PC there have been no runs with this car at Sugo.

Hey, the Ferrari is working good at Fuji, with Hard tires there are 3 top times with the new patch.

Yes, Fuij is working great. Still trying to work the sugo combo out. Will have another shot at it tonight. Thanks for the links!

A lot of oversteer in T3 (left uphill turn). Hard to accelerate out of the corner. Currently using front 120/ rear 30 roll cage and lowered the preload. Helped a bit with the rest of the track but T3 is killing my times. Any suggestions?

Hi Pindakaasklodder, with the new tires some people have been having problems with oversteer. I found this LSD for the Ferrari that has reduced preload and a power ramp at 60. With the new tires some are using the Stable LSD.
Also, I can't any Ferraris using a front ARB of 120 that high most are 90 or 100 at the highest rear 25 to 40 so your 30 seems close.

Ok, I found this Sugo setup, it's a patch 4.0 the roll bar is higher(110) than any of the patch 5.0 setups but take a look at it and see if there is anything looks like it might help.

Great find! I will also take a moment to drive it tomorrow for a long run. Hopefully I can bring my lap times more together. Thanks again

I'll try when I return, use default trim

Thanks Smoo. Some people are having a problem at certain tracks still. Fuji is really good but not Sugo. Hope you are having a great time.

Hello Ehmm No unfortunately problems in the family, are forced holidays. SUGO is a track that I have never used Ferrari, but with Renault I was running under the 1.19

Did some long runs on the tweaked setup you provided blinkngone. The car feels better on sorts but terrible on hard tyres. Also the car would eat a lot of tyres during the test. Couldn't complete a 30min race on 1 set...Frustrating. I give a go tomorrow but the Ferrari and sugo seems a bad marriage.

I read the link to the other posts. It's a weird situation with the new tyre model. A lot of people are searching and re-do their setups with a lot of different outcomes. Because of the frustration regarding this issue something inside me want to wait for a new patch on the tyre model and on the other hand I just want to drive and find the right working spot on this current tyre model.

I'm still trying to make hard tires work for myself, not much success.:(

I hear you about the hard tyres. It's like an inigma code for me.

Hey, I just ran a test, just 1. I increased front camber from 3.8 to 4.0 to try and get the front tires to grip more quickly. I was able to beat my ghost on lap 2, which with the hards wasn't possible at 3.8.

Smoo that 1:19.400 +0:01.681 is the best time since the 5.0 patch at this track.:D The next closet time is 1:21.282 +0:03.563 almost 2 seconds back. Not many of us can drive like you, most of us are like the guy 2 seconds behind you.:o Good to know Hard tires are working.

With GTE I can improve at least-0.200 with GT3 more tiring to close a good lap, the best laps come out in the second or third round launched

Ok, I think you have an excellent time with the GT3, I would rather see you improve the GTE.:D

Well that 1:15.699 is a little better than the .200 you predicted at .245.:D How do you even know that kind of stuff? Great as usual.

I did try to improve my C7 as promised but no luck yet. I was able to improve my AMG GT3 at Silverstone National, still slow but better for me. If you have some time I would like to know how fast the AMG is supposed to be there.

I look at my best sectors, I can't always join them. I tried the AMG but I don't like it

Fine, that is a big club., not liking the AMG. Front engine, heavy steering. Thanks for taking a look.:D

Ok Rinpoku used a Custom setup to run a 1:18.260 +0:00.541 slightly behind the patch 4.0 WR at Sugo. His Huracan at the same track is at 1:17.476.
