What did you do SMS? It's feeling superb and from reading on here, pretty much everyone agrees.

What did you change? I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering what needed changing to get it feeling like this.

The tire working range is so much better, lap after lap i can make better laps. The tyres not starting to overheat and understeer like crazy before the patch, until at least ~ 10laps. So it's great change indeed.

I haven't had much time to try 1.6 yet, but did manage about 6 qualifying laps.
It felt very different (much better overall) during those laps, but having not played properly for about a week, I wasn't sure if it was just me.

I guess its not me... interesting...

I have been by accident playing the game a lot the past week running a patch from February. Played the game this morning post Patch 6 install and woah. It feels like an entirely new game. I liked it before but now its even better.

I did a 25 lap race in the rain against AI 100/100 and it was a very close race! Reviewed in my career tune thread:

I also think it's a lot better overall.

Never had a problem with the tires handling wise prior to 1.6. I did note however they seem to last a lot longer now without overheating so easily. In GTE races(I run the Ford GT a LOT!) they seem to be more in line with real world stints.

Don't know if it's just me but feels like the tyre grip has change,I was driving the GT3 cars with no assists before patch 6 but now the cars are a lot harder to handle and had to set my assists to authentic or even stability turned on.

I must always laugh when people say it's harder to drive, it must be more realistic.

But no-one said that in this thread, right?
