Hi

I wonder if someone can explain something to me. I am driving a Toyota TSO40 and i copied the exact settings of the first place guy in time trial on the Donington Track.

I go into the turn at the same speed and get onto the gas at the same time but then he just drives out of the turns getting more speed than i am.

I have done everything possible by using every conceivable drive style but still i cant get the speed on the straight.

In slow fast out, or fast in and medium out. In on the breaks or stop and squirt.

Is there something that i am missing here. Its been months of driving the same track using both his and other settings.

Maybe there is something i am missing.

Any help will be most welcome no matter how silly it sounds.

Thank You.

check that you're effectively pushing 100% on the throttle. or at least, more than 90%. if the guy just drive off and gain more speed than you have, then the ers is not kicking on your side

Isn't the ers just manual, so that you have to press the boost button for it to kick in, or do I remember wrong?

He's driving the ts040 where the ers kicks in automatically but only on 100% throttle. The ts050 is manual ers

Not true. KERS kicks in around 88% throttle input not 100%

Here is my Donington advice.
Don't point and squirt at Redgate.
Brake then Lift through the Old Hairpin.
You never brake at the right time for Coppice.

And I don't doubt your abilities but sometimes you just have to accept that someone is quicker than you no matter what you do or how you do it.

TarHeel , I'm not trying to change the subject on purpose, but you're the first person I've noticed with the same display. Does Gsync mess with your game at all? Do you ever see the hands of your driver flash random frames in cockpit view?
