I heard that PC2 has real data of pirelli tyres into the game. How accurate and benefits we get?

Any guide available to understand the tyres?

Thanks

Here is some info about the SETA tyre model:

I know there's more info specific about Pirelli, maybe in one of the videos, such as the one about McLaren?

The SETA tire model isn't in use anymore, it didn't even make it into pcars1. It was too outdated.

Where did you hear/read that nonsense? Both Project Cars 1 and 2 use the SETA tyre model, which by far is the most advanced tyre model you can find in the simracing world.

Ah, my bad. Proofs how long ago the tire model change happened and how long pcars franchise is in the making. I think it was the brush tire model that was scrapped halfway through pcars1 development for the SETA model.

Here is the McLaren video, where they talk about Pirelli and tyres. Very interesting:

I think that video and Chris Goodwin article (https://www.projectcarsgame.com/one-final-session-mclarens-chief-test-driver-chris-goodwin-changed-feel-project-cars-2/) were the first sneaky reference to Pirelli engineers being involved and shaping the tire model of pc2.

From the Pirelli article (https://www.projectcarsgame.com/pirelli-joins-project-cars-2-bring-pirelli-world-challenge-series-game-pirellis-motorsport-technology-franchise/):

From carcass construction to tyre-slip angle curves, from the way tyres heat to the way they cut and wear through their rubber thermomechanics, Pirelli’s partnership with the Project CARS franchise means drivers will now get even closer to the real-world of motorsports.
