Would it be possible to add tire texture recognition to the tool in a future release?
As for now they have to be added manually to the rcf-files.
Here's an example of file names for additional michelin tires:
tire_michelin_diff_00.dds

0.98 doesn't work to me. Loading a new livery (even in the right vehicle notation) is not possible. The Programm "custom liverie tool" didn't identify any livery (dds file) in a pointed folder. Also the test liveries weren't recognized. Help needed ... thx

great to see that the tool is back up and also way way smaller. So couldnt it be possible to add the MDMT Audi R8 LMS Mod liveries now aswell? Would make adding (or "deleting" fictional liveries" easier
Yes, but there would need to be a "Custom Livery" template in the .rcfs for the Audi mod. At the moment there are not. If you copy and paste on of the other entries, make it livery 99 and add a path to \vehicles\textures\CustomLiveries\ for the texture it should work. I'll test later this afternoon.
It also means that any Road cars can now have multiple custom livery entries added.
It sounds like you are pointing the tool to the folder for the livery - it should be a vehicle-level folder like this:Quote:

So when you try loading the demo_fa_liveries, just point at that folder, not at livery #01, #02, etc.

Hey Crowtrobot, does the custom livery works with the Machine Dojo R8? Is there an order to respect for having the new audi (with some custom liveries for it) and customized liveries for the pCars cars?

I've got a part of the solution : the most important file is mods.txt . JSGME change the file "without saying anything", that's why I wasn't able to have the audi and the custom liveries together. But I still don't know how to add some custom liveries to the new audi. Is it possible with custom livery? Or should I modified mods.txt myself ?
My custom formula one liveries are in pcars/Custom Liveries/Formula A/"xxx". To put them in pCars, i open the Formula A folder, not the "xxx" one.

You don't have to load the livery files individually, you load the folder containing folders for each of the liveries. Again, for example, if you want to load the demo FA liveries, just click 'Load', then select the demo_fa_liveries folder. Do not select the #01, #02, #03 folders.

It's possible, but it will require some edits to the .rcf so the Tool has a template to build new entries off of. The Tool modifies the mods.txt on its own, so if you activate the Audi R8 mod via JSGME, just run the livery tool afterwards and the mods.txt file should be in working order. The hangup will be the .rcf file.
