Due to developments in my setup I ended up building a new rig out of 8020, plan had been to make it VR only but ended up adding triples off a USB hub as Im also now using it with my work laptop as a home office. The triples arent usd for gaming as the hub really cant keep up. I plan on upgrading to a desktop machine next year and the current set up makes it really easy to make that change.

Build was started last September and was only completed this week, got a few minor bits to sort out. All the 8020 is carbon wrapped, side panels are acyrlic and wrapped in carbon on the outside and carpet on the inside. Top plate is aluminium and has two fans to keep the laptop cool.

    New Set up Rseat N1

Sooo Much more Leg room than the RS1 rig!!! I have the seat in the 2nd click back from the most forward position Much more comfortable and built like a tank!

I modified the buttkicker mount so the buttkickers are right under the seat --> they give much better and more feel this way --->but also Buttkickers are Not supposed to be mounted in the side ways position as they are when you use the N1 or RS1 buttkicker mount.

i also modded the hand brake mount and made it into a keyboard mouse tray

After months of modding the RS1 to get more leg room i finally just decided to get the N1 and My Legs are very happy about it...I have sooo much leg space now that its Hard to get comfortable because I'm not used to it

Kholls had a sale on memory foam pillows the wife took out the regular Foam seat inserts and cut the Pillow memory foam to size and shape and put it in for Me she made it a exact fit shape and size much better than i would have done Now only problem is I'm sooo comfortable how not to Fall asleep during a race

Edit: Just added the finishing touch made a plate holder and added My Custom plate --> thats My actual real life License plate from My 350z i just have New plates on the car but they read the same

^^ Very nice, Grimey! I took a good long look at the N1 myself - it's easily the best-looking of the pod cockpits. I'm still researching motion solutions so my next rig will probably be a Sim Labs P1.

You will not regret that choice. It is my fourth rig, so I can compare. I believe it is the best rig available.

That's my next rig, too. House hunting now. As soon as that's over I'm ordering one. I love the way the wheel mounts.

Did you see they have the P1 in black now? I like it, but it's $200 more than the regular one. Not sure if I like it that much...LOL

I have been on his chanbel for a while He is pretty Good --> Have you seen the Video where he added Motion to that Rig??? Im thinking about a Motion platforn also --> the RSeat Motion platform to fit the N1 is really pricey at $14k but thats the price with the N1 with full trimming I'm going to Emal them about the price of just the Motion platform its self but i fear its still gonna be $12k +!!! I'm looking for a better deal than that --> if i can find a $ 5 to 6k option I'm all in.

The N1 has sooo much Leg Room its actually hard to get used to it.... I'm still getting it dialed in but sooo far im liking it alot and the extra space and comfort is making a diff in lap times times i used to have to focus to get i Now get with ease because i have space to Move whuch gives Me Much better Stab braking and throttle feathering.

Yep, I did not have the choice when I bought mine, the black version came afterwards. It looks really cool, but I doubt I would have paid the extra money for it.
Pretty happy with my aluminium coloured version

I think the pic is already somewhere earlier in the topic but hey...here it goes...
