How To Get Setup Properly In Project Cars

Ok, there seems to be a few questions floating around on twitter, youtube and also here so I thought I'd post this to hopefully answer a number of them (I know they won't answer all). Here are a couple of videos I released yesterday, as guides to help you get setup properly and grab some recommended settings for the game. There will be more videos coming in the next few days with further tips about the game, driving and menu's to help improve your experiences more.

    Wheel & Controller Settings:

Setting up Singleplayer & multiplayer races, Driver Network and Driver Profile:

The last two had to be posted as links as I can only embed 1 video per post

Also check out this thread here: http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/sho...019#post887019 , where I shall be posting videos that go onto my channel.

Any other questions, feel free to post and I shall see if I can answer some of them.

Hi Yorkie, your videos are always a great help and races are well made. I have no idea how to setup for live chat when racing(in any game) and it may help others too as your youtube races when your talking to other drivers like in TGC are clear and interesting. Please could you do a tutorial on how to set up chat from the start? I have a gaming headset. Its also whats best for chat like twitch or teamspeak. Thanks if you can give any advice on this for Pcars.

Something like Teamspeak, Ventrillo or Mumble are generally best, but you can also use Skype, Steam Chat or other similar voice call programs. I prefer Teamspeak due to it's features and functionality, it's popular and it's not too difficult to use. It's something that only applies to PC though as it's a separate piece of software that I just run whilst playing. It is very useful for those races in terms of getting info as to where others are and about the race, but also just chatting and having a laugh with everyone. I imagine for the consoles the usual voice chat is working in-game, although I am not 100% sure.

I may do a video for it in the future, but it's not something that is hugely applicable to a large number of people.

Have updated the original post to include my latest video which should hopefully help with some issues people are having with their wheel or controllers, and guide them on how to set both up properly.

Love your videos...Great help! As I mentioned in another post I am unable to use pedals or clutch, and manual transmision only if clutch is automatic and buttons for up/down are available for each thumb on or near front side of wheel like in F1 Formula cars. Gas and brake I can use on a wheel only of the paddels on the wheel's rear side can be configured to handle them. I also hate console controllers even on my PC so I've always had to use Jpusticks, which as of late has been the Thrustmaster M.16000T. I steer with the X axis, Gas with the Y axis, and brake with a button on it's left side. If I could locate a decent wheel that could be configured as I said, I'd buy it right away, but I'm 100 miles from the nearest store that handles any and my requests for this kind of info have gone unanswered. Do you know a wheel that would allow this? Thanx in advance for any suggestions!
