    its this quote about shared memory exactly?

    its similar to apps in Assetto Corsa?

    That is what shared memory is. It's needed for things like sim commander and fanaleds to work

    Basically yes. It allows external apps to access various telemetry data.

    Yup what he said ^^^. Shared memory allows applications (like pCars Dash http://www.pocketplayground.net/pcars-dash.html) on other devices to access the API that project cars uses to display all sorts of things relating to your car and race.

    i dont remember if leds in my g27 work with Shared Memory OFF

    It wont hurt if its on and you don't use it. As for the lights on the G27, it should work when off, but I can't be sure on that.

    G27 lights work with it turned off (for me, no apps installed for the game)
