    Penalties Won't Go Away!!

I have penalties set to "off" as I'm not that great a driver but no matter what, every race or race mode (free practice etc) I play, the damn penalties come back!

I'm constantly getting second warnings for cutting corners and I cannot get a decent qualifying time because I end up off track.

At my wits end here. Any help would be appreciated.

Even with rules and penalties off your lap times still will be invalidated when driving off track. But you get no Stop and Go penalty for multiple infringements.

What's the Stop and Go penalty? Sorry, I'm very new to this.

You have to drive into the pits and stop while the mechanics are not allowed to do anything on your car. And then drive out again.
