OK good to know. Maybe someone can sticky the info here since I'm sure it could help a lot of people who are unaware.

Can we pull the thread from WMD or make a new one here?

PS: -gold, I miss you very much and hope to see you again someday.

If you can make a new post, Copy and paste this info in a post, I'll make it sticky! Can you?

I would love to but sadly I can't find any recent info on this, which is why I asked.

    This list:

    Startup parameters:

    Auto log-in /USERNAME "????" /PASSWORD "????"
    Launch 32bit -x86
    Single threaded -dx11st
    DirectX 9 -dx9
    Disable VR headset support -novr
    Access additional cameras -devcameras
    Remove crowds -skipcrowds
Disable join in progress (multiplayer) -disablejip

    Number of physics threads
    -pthreads 1 / -pthreads 2 / -pthreads 3 / -pthreads 4

    Custom downsampling -windowsize 3500,2500
Change values as required. Press alt+enter to maximise.
    Resolution reference list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_common_resolutions

    • x64 is default and uses multi-threading by default, this can be overridden with: -dx11st
    • Single threaded may provide higher frame rates.
    • Default physics threads = 2

    From this thread: http://forum.wmdportal.com/showthrea...oard-Shortcuts

Is obviously outdated. Things changed a lot and now -dx11MT is no longer default as it once was. It also doesn't have the -fpscap one either. So what works and what doesn't, what's missing, what's not, I have no idea.

As far as I know if you want Multithreading to work you need to add the command line. The game defaults to DX11 single threading. Try and experiment with it and monitor your cpu core usage to see.

-pthreads is only 1-4. For physics only. You can try a different setting and see if it has any impact on performance.

Nope, 1-4 since is one thread per wheel that can not be splitted

Nope, and bear in mind is only render Multithreading, not for CPU.
