    Playing With Controller Impossible

    Hello,

so got the game for PS4. Even I use "slow" four wheel drive car like Lancer Evo X, slighest movement of controller stick at speeds around 100km/h makes it feel like Toyota DX with pogo sticks as springs and spin around like crazy.

Tried all kinds of settings, sensitivities from 100 - 0 etc, but all the same. Besides, it is really annoying to wait minute for exiting race, making changes, wait 2 minutes it to load again so can test.

Is it possible to get refund from PS4 store, because this game is unplayable? I played lot of car games before, lets mention Forza which was ok with controller.

If you disagree, please post your controller settings on PS4 please.

I use stock settings for sensitivity and take the dead zone off the steering, accelerator and brake axis control and find it to be playable using those settings, might be worth a try.

Seriously? No I havent tryed D pads, because we come a long way since Nintendo first version

I can't believe why it is so hard, to map in straight curve the horizontal movement of stick, to turning the steering wheel.

Let me be more clear, turn stick left halfway, steering wheel turns halfway left, turn the stick all the way left, wheel turns all the way left.

I'm using these and it feels pretty good with most of the cars. May not be for everyone but try them out and see for yourself. I hope you find good settings for your DS4.

I was about to answer that I use the stock setting with no issue except that some cars are difficult to maintain straight (Sauber C9 @ Le Mans) because of the dead zone. Have to try take this deadzone off for steering tonight! I must say I was concerned about this because I usually play with a G25 on PC but the control with de DS4 is very good IMO. The first streamers on twitch just before the release made me fear that playing with the controller would be impossible and specially in the traffic but I must admit that in fact those streamers were only bad with a controller in hand .

Will try to upload a video (no alien time) of me playing with me controller to illustrate this.

Im using the DS4 and I find it fine, however going round corners I find myself tapping/flicking the stick in the direction ao my cornering isn't smooth but I guess I'll find a way.

How does eeveryone else use the stick going round bends? Tapping/flicking? Or one constant smooth movement?
