    PC Wheel Deadzone Problem

Hi, unfortunately when playing Project Cars there seems to be a forced deadzone on my wheel even when it's set to '0' in the settings menu.
I have tried adjusting various other settings to limit this but it doesn't seem to change anything.

    Information -

    Platform - Windows 7 64bit

Control input - Madcatz MC2 Wheel (Not officially supported however I have never had any problems on other racing games for PC such as; Dirt 3, Assetto Corsa, F1 2012, F1 2013, F1 2014, Race 07 so it's not an issue with that.)

    PC Spec-
    Intel i7 3770k
    16GB Ram
    nvidia GTX 760

    In-game settings-

    Steering Deadzone - 0
    Steering Sensitivity - 100
    Throttle Deadzone - 0
    Throttle Sensitivity - 100
    Brake Deadzone - 0
    Brake Sensitivity 100
    Clutch Deadzone - 0
    Clutch Sensitivity - 100
    Speed Sensitivity - 0
    Controller Filtering Sensitivity - 0
    Damper Saturation - 0
    Force Feedback - 0

    Controller Input Mode 1
    Advanced - ON
    Soft Steering Dampering - OFF
    Visual Wheel Filtering - OFF
    Opposite Lock Help - OFF

I've literally tried all I can think of within reason and nothing seems to have helped. It's making the game unplayable at the moment so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    No idea, try:
    Steering Sensitivity - 50
Force Feedback - 50 (assuming wheel is forcefeedback)
Controller input mode = 3 (try all of them)

Under calibrate in the bottom right, make sure the deadzone removal = 0 (can try different values later).
    tire force = 100
    per wheel movement = 0
    per wheel... = 0
wheel position smoothing = 0.05 (can try others)
    deadzone removal falloff = 0.01 (not 0)
    linkage scale = 0

rest probably don't matter... thats my guess.

if you go to control configuration under options

    go to calibrate force feedback

experiment with the "deadzone removal range" G27 is about 0.18, try values between 0.05 and 0.20 as a start, and see how you go. Higher values is more removal...

    cheers

If that doesn't work check this thread as the mad catz wheel is a xinput wheel too. With luck you might solve your problem using the workaround I posted, no guarantee though

I had a bit of deadzone on my wheel at first but after tweaking the deadzone removal a little it feels great now.
