    Ruf CTR3 SMS-R tune

    Hello fellow racers,

Here is my tune for this Ruf, boy its been a real challenge.... (infact the most difficult to date)
Bear in mind you need to go easy on the throttle if tc is turned off This car has 760 hp in a car that weighs a little heavier than a shopping cart lol.

After 6+ hours of fiddling this is the tune that put the fastest lap in around Bathurst on free practice.(my favorite testing ground)
I will be using this tune on the Nordschleife gt class time trial to try and break the top 20......
(Wish me luck) im currently 50th with the Pagani Zonda R with a moderate lap attempt.

Not sure if this tune will be everyones cup of tea, but its the best i can come up with.

Im open to critism to help improve things even more (esp if pro tuners have any recomendations)

Again i must stress this car is a beast and has been as much a headache to tune as it is fun to drive

I tried this at Donnington and was a little slower than my time with the Zonda. However, I had so much more fun with this car mate. Lovely tune and car feels really nice to drive on the limit. Started to play around and could even hang the rear out on demand. Great fun!! Thanks for sharing ; )

Thanks for the comment Saucyboy, this car is very much on the limit.
    It is excellent fun!
I wear a vest when i drive this car because im lathered!
It took so much time just to get the car to accelerate in a straight line without spinning!!

    Thanks for the tuning tips!

I cherry picked some of yourns to add to my setup and after a lot of practice I'm finally winning races. Just won a 5 lap at Laguna Seca on 80 AI. It's all I can do to keep that car from biting me!

Is there any particular reason behind having the front end sitting so high? Its quite a soft setup so when it squats upon Acceleration it will create more wind resistance thus losing some top end speed, other than that looks good on paper

160 bar front, 1.51 back?! That is a huge difference

It keeps the tyre temps stable as through the first four gears the car wheelspins......
Ive managed to get it under control now.
Normally my tunes are more run of the mill.

I think i went down that route because the car is very low standard.
With nurburgring and Bathurst being bumpy tracks i had to stop the car bottoming out,esp under hevy braking.
The susp is softer than normal as the car has big tendencies to understeer,
    I wanted more bite!
