    Why was my thread closed?

Genuinely looking for the little details I should look out for to enjoy while playing the game???

    OP as follows:

    "OK, haters gonna hate.

And no, the game shouldn't have been released on XB1 in this state.

I'm no white knight, but let's look for the positive.

You know the last corner on Monza? You know those bumps (or are they ripples) on the way in? Hard on the brakes, they feel huge and like they could upset the front end. Brake earlier, coast over them and they feel softer; they unsettle your car less. It's that level of detail that driving games on console have been missing for your years.

    What's your favourite detail?"

The weather effects are my fave.
As the rain starts falling lightly, do you gamble and stay out to see if the rain eases, or do you play safe and switch out tyres and hope it doesn't stop raining.
Love the way that one choice can make or break your race, and i think sms got the system spot on.

Yeah have to agree. However the known bug of AI lights staying off in daylight is the only thing that detracts from rain/fog effects.

My favourite thing I have noticed so far is that some cars like the Mk1 Escort RS1600 by the second lap the brakes are getting up to temp and they are start squeling under hard braking like real brakes do on track days .

One thing I was surprised to find out was that naturally aspirated cars produce less horsepower at Bathurst due to the track being at roughly 900m above sea level. When you're at the top of Skyline (highest point of the track), you're running roughly 415hp and 430hp on the start/finish straight. If you bring the car to Azure Coast (sea level), you've got the full 480hp. That's really cool.

That is a fact. How cool are our physics guys?

Self platitudes aside, this is another one of those little things that all add up.

Also noted that the BMW Z4 GT3 has a 100L fuel tank, yet it holds 1.6L in the fuel line. Good attention to detail right there.

This is why we're three and a half years in with a controller issue on Xbox. We focused on insane details.
