[CONFIRMED] Project CARS will not support Logitech G27 on PS4

    Email from logitech support:

My name is Kenneth V., I understand that you would like assistance with your G27 Racing Wheel.

As for the moment, we currently don't have a definite timeframe on when our racing wheel will be supported on PS4. But yes, we are already on the process of incorporating our gaming wheel to PS4. But mainly we will be focusing on the G27 only and later model.

For future reference your case reference number is 00705258. This will allow us to quickly find the contact history when you need additional help. If we do not receive a reply, your support request will eventually be closed and set to "solved". A survey will be sent to you to gather your feedback.

To contact us by phone or obtain additional information (FAQ's, Forum, Manuals, etc.) please visit support.logitech.com

    Best regards,
    Kenneth V.

I called Logitech France 10 minutes ago and for them nothing is planned for G27 compatibility on PS4.

The statistical chances of it being true are high as I bought a t300 wheel this week due to giving up hope on logitech pulling their fingers out of their arses and sorting the g27/ps4 compatibility issue. In my life i am usually caught out in waiting til the last second before i jump, only to find if i had waited a bit longer i wouldnt have actually had to jump. Still, fingers crossed eh :-)

Personally though, i expect logitech to do their new not so secret wheel and make that ps4 friendly, while citing numerous reasons why the g27 wont be catered for. After all, a free compatibility fix or sell you a new wheel, which do you think the bean counters wold be suggesting at logitech?

I don't even have a G27, and I'd still Like it five times if I were able...

    The G27 is cheap atm.

This support makes sence, if its true that G27 and G29 share the same base, so the PS4 drivers used would be the same for both.

    New G27 box:
