Here some tunig tipps to make 90% of the cars stable on track(not fast) this is working for me on helmet cam.
First I set the steering rate to 10.5:1,
then I look at the brake mapping 5 or higher,
important for me is the track angle front -0/0,
next comes tracking, each car is different but most of the time I have set it to the right(rgt8gt3 is 8.2 for me),
should the car jumps to much on your rear set the (I don't know how to translate it, go to shock absorber scroll down to the last two) to the left and the car is not jumping so strong.
This are just my little things to make the cars stable and then i spent 2 or more hours in training on each track to make the cars fast (just fast 4 me, I don't know how fast I am really on P'cars)
The secret is not only a good controller config....

Nice one KkDrummer. It's always nice to see when people not only enjoy the game, but take the time to help others to enjoy it also.![]()

Tip for those who still having problems with freezing in race.
I connected my xbox one wired with my modem now. before i always used wireless connection.
And just was able to play around 3hours without any freeze. Before i would have it almost every race after the patch.
No idea why now i dont have it and ok its only been 3hours but who knows mayby someone also is able to play with this tip until next patch coms out.

This has helped me a great deal. I had been running in instant on mode and noticed the game degrading every time I sat down to play. After switching to power save mode I only notice fps drops and stuttering after extremely long sessions.
I had been a major complainer prior to the controller patch, game was completely unplayable for me. Now I am enjoying the game a great deal. I can live with whatever little issues still exist, this game rocks!

I hate to be negative but all these "workarounds" shouldn't be necessary, the game should work fine within the consoles capabilities! For instance I do not wish to turn off "Instant mode" as my partner & children have zero tolerance for this when waiting for tv in the morning. In order to keep tv as part of xbox one ( not switching av input to check activity etc. ) I must keep it simple / quickly accessible for all family needs! Also i cannot help but feel this game is making me feel useless, even after the patch i'm finding controls really dificult or unnatural feeling and don't wish to spend my limited gaming time fiddling with settings that have no explanation of their affect in the game knowing they'll need tweaking again for the next car type. This feels so familiar to shift 2 which left me fishtailing once in higher classes so much that i traded the game before it made me beleive i was the worst joypad driver ever. Despite trying assists on for the first time in around 6 years i admit defeat and cannot drive project cars so it must go!!!
What didn't help was whilst loving the rs escort in career i accidentaly skipped qualifying and kept having the car fly up on it's side violently if another car touched mine side on whilst overtaking after starting in last place for the race.
Too many flaws, soooooooooo gutted!!!!

Switching your console to power save mode is not a work around; should be a common practice with xbox users as instant on mode is a gimmick. Understand you don't have much gaming time to sit down and learn every control setting but there is a plethora of information on these forums for controller setups, tips, and just plain old help. Stick with it.

Tried this step for step. Still CTD (Xbox1 home screen) Can't drive AT ALL. Redoing process offline then patches. This is too much for console! Could the problem be my Thrustmaster Spider? I tried to update it but the system said nothing was plugged in to update. HELLLLLP!!!
