@ibby It was blatantly obvious Rosberg could see him. Why else would he have gone so sharply to the track edge on the inside of a corner entrance nearly touching the grass himself.

Ian: You don't need to leave a car length if the car is behind you not next to you.
At the start of Rosbergs move Hamilton was behind him.

Dorny: Of course he knew Hamilton was behind him but you can't see if someone is dipping his front wheels on the inside at the last second.

My opinion is that it is Hamiltons fault. Rosberg went to the inside before Hamilton was next to him. Hamilton tried it anyways, went offtrack, lost control and crashed into Rosberg.

Rosberg did nothing wrong in my opinion. Sky had a good slo-motion where you could see it quite nicely.

Yup i also first thought it was harsh but looking at the slo-mo it's a simple racing incident where the guy coming from the back is usually more at fault.
I don't like Rosberg at all but that was ok'ish.

You do if you're blocking an overtake into a braking zone. Or are you suggesting the wrong side of the road was his chosen braking zone and entry angle to that corner?

Joke aside, I think Rosbergs move was very late and fast, and there was no need for him to push Hamilton into the grass either.
    I think both are guilty

Rosberg went to the inside (wrong side of the road and off the racing line) for what reason though? Clearly to block Hamilton's attempted overtake. Therefore, under the rules, you need to leave a car width.

The rule says you have to leave a car width when at least one part of the car behind is side by side with the car in front (e.g. front wing). Rosberg is moving to the right to defend which is legit and when he started turning right, to defend, hamilton was still behind him.
