So ehm... I just watched a bit of David Coulthard trying to overtake Ralf Schumacher action. Looks familiar to anyone?

I guess it happens to the best of them.

Even Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton weren't always being that great either... although this situation is different. All the drivers do stupid things at times, but the press and fans sometimes forget that they are in fact human like everyone else.

Heck... even Ayrton Senna did stupid overtakes in his younger years. This one on Martin Brundle.

M.Schumacher had been doing a lot worse things like that, for example trying to squeeze Barrichello into the barriers when he was trying to overtake him, parking his car in La Rascasse in qualifying to not let others finish their lap, all sorts of things like that, this is I think why there also a lot of people who do not like him as a driver. The same is more or less true about Senna, too, I think.

Verstappen is on their path. Both on becoming a great multiple world champion and on also becoming famous for using dirty tactics and completely disrespecting every other driver on track.

    Pretty much this.
In my eyes Schumacher is/was a great driver but a bad sportsman.

Senna's talent was unmatched (probably still is) but he was a RL sim racer (so to speak). He regularly dive bombed his opponents and relied on them getting out of his way.

Halo is on top, so it kind of fits with that idea.

Guys, I just had a revelation to bring some more noise back into Formula E... turn it into a Formula S(team).

Dear me, I'd love to see a Formula Steam myself. Super or Turbocharged steam engines with electric motors, massively improved furnaces from the days of old as well as improved recycling of steam back into water.

Personally I'd be very interested in how well that would go, even when it might not be fast at first.

I mean... Steam is pretty awesome if you watch this Doble from Jay Leno. Just think about bringing it into this century with current tech!

Or this Stanley Steamer Vanderbilt Cup Racer, which sounds like Ian 'The Wookie' Bell in the morning as it starts up. lmao

(I know I am crazy but I just love to drive something that makes noise and is 'alive', whereas to me electric vehicles are dead)

Yeah, it doesn't block visibility at all in VR, not sure what it'd be like in 2D. Funny, though, because the look doesn't bother me at all. It's different, but totally benign to me.

That RSS 2018 mod is a beast, though, right!? I couldn't stop racing it after I got it. Spent a week or so racing it on all my favorite tracks, then made the mistake of trying on the Nords and spent the next week doing nothing but running races on the Nords Endurance track with a fill grid, always starting from the back and trying to make P1 within 5 laps. It was amazing. After a full lap at that speed in traffic, you really look forward to that final straight, so you can take a breath...LOL.
