I don't think Leclerc's moves on Hamilton were that bad, imo Verstappen's move on Leclerc in Austria was much worse and Verstappen didn't get even a warning.

Ferrari won the 2 races they were expected to win, the question now is whether Mercedes will win the 7 remaining races.

I have my doubts. But that Ferrari power unit might be strong enough to knock off a couple more wins with Charles. If they can just hold it together.

Looking at the top speeds, the Ferrari was as fast at Monza down the straights without drs as Merc were with drs!
They held the same advantage at Spa.
Given that power advantage, maybe they can sacrifice some top speed and gamble for more downforce in the coming races.
Ferrari really struggle for tyre wear too so either they fix that or drive it like they stole it on a harder compound.

I think that might be a problem, if Ferrari goes for the option of increased downforce when they already have a problem with tirewear, they run the risk of making the tire problem worse. I think they'd be better suited to trying to exploit the speed they do have instead of trying to work on their cornering. Unless of course they can sort out the tire wear issues they do have, but I don't think they can do that in short order.

Ferrari are apparently low on downforce compared to Merc yet still burn up their tyres. Could be a major chassis design issue so probably not possible to fix during the season.
Will the upcoming races have the long straights that favour Ferrari's top speed advantage?

There are three races I expect a good Ferrari showing. They are Sochi, Suzuka and Circuit of the Americas.

Sochi and Suzuka have technical sections, but both have very high average speed throughout a lap. Circuit of the Americas I don't think the straights are as important so much as the elevation. The extra power will allow Ferrari a much better first sector up the long and steep hill into T1. It might be enough to counteract the Mercedes, Redbulls and Renaults through the esses, and then the rest of the circuit should be fair to both philosophies.

Abu Dhabi is a solid maybe. Given the performance in Bahrain that Charles had, but also, given the technical issues in Bahrain that Charles had. The two circuits are fairly similar to me, anyway.

I would like to see Sochi racing in real life... Should be amazing
