    Shifting behaviour

Since yesterday I have a H-Shifter and noticed the following behaviour in the Ginetta G40:

I can simply shift without the clutch (Auto-Clutch turned off) by taking my foot a bit of the throttle. Is this supposed to be like this? I could even stay on the throttle, change the gear and as soon as I hit the clutch the gear changes.

    Using a PC, Thrustmaster T300 GTE + H-Shifter

    Hmm

I know you can shift without using the clutch in a real car, but the RPMs need to be just right before it will happen.

    This though I dont know.

Yeah the Ginetta has a sequential gear box and I also tried it with a sequential shifter BUT I have to go of the throttle to shift which is not typical for sequential gearboxes isn't it? And my second note "I could even stay on the throttle, change the gear and as soon as I hit the clutch the gear changes" is also strange for me. For example I could put in the next gear before I actually do the shift which feels weird. Yesterday was the first time I tried the H-Shifter and the first time I tried the Ginetta so I don't know if this behaviour was there before Patch 2.0.

Are you talking about the G55? I am talking about the G40. With the G55 (and all other GT3 cars) I only have to use the clutch for starting and crashing

I don't know if it's the case of the G40, but some low budget sequencial gear boxes require throttle lift to activate the sensor that engages the clutch.

That would make sense. Never heard of this. I thought sequential gearbox always means "automatic throttle lift"

I thought so too, until some youtube videos that I saw. Even some old GT3 cars, when they have a gear stick instead of paddles had that kind of gear box.

Not necessarily. The Formula Gulf car also has no autoblip function. You'll have to do it manually.

Ok so I think this particular problem is solved. But what about the other? That sounds like a bug doesn't it?
