Yeah, got mine fitted. It's quite a nice little CPU Asturbo

I have also had to buy a new laptop in the last 24 hours. It turns out that laptops don't bounce very high when you drop them onto a patio slab. It also transpires that laptops really don't like being dropped onto hard surfaces from waist height. I wasn't annoyed, no, not at all, not peeved one little bit that my only proper lifeline to sanity in the day was destroyed. Ended up replacing it with a new 11th-gen laptop, though one that has the power button in the singularly most idiotic location known to man. See if you can spot the hilarity that might ensue when making spelling mistakes (yeah, I think it's a laptop that RacingTypos should avoid like the plague )




I'm not normally one for getting irrationally angry at things (OK, that's a bare-faced lie), but this design got OK'd and passed testing, yet nobody seemed to pick up the glaring stupidity of it. Honestly, I was close to packing it back up and buying a different laptop. HP, you really need to look in a mirror tonight and say to yourself "I'm a wally".

After 4 months (less a day), my day 1 order of a RTX 3080 card has finally shipped! I'll hand it to Overclockers, they kept true to their word and gave me the original price I paid AND I have also been one of the lucky ones to have got a free upgrade from the MSI Gaming X Trio, that I ordered, to the MSI Suprim X board, which is MSI's flagship model now. The card was shipped today and I should have it on Monday.

Once it is fitted I'll be selling off the 3060ti I got temporarily. In the end I didn't really get a lot of playtime with it, but it did enable me to play some stuff that my old GTX 980 pretty much cried when asked to try

Finally I bought a nice coffee machine. After buying every year a Senseo machine which dies way to quick, we decided to spend some euro on a better quality machine with pistons etc.. let’s hope this one will last longer.
