Ha! Drinking less isn't an option for me anymore. The older I get the more the gap widens between my tolerance and stamina and my ability to recuperate...LOL
From what I remember about the rig assembly, though, being hungover would have been absolutely tragic. Everything would have been eyeballed instead of measured, nothing would have been even or straight...LOL. Not to mention, it gets heavier and heavier as you put it together. Oh, the headache I'd have had...LOL
Luckily, I bought the rig a few months back when I moved. It's just accessories on the way--monitor mount, rubber feet, keyboard and mouse plates, etc...

For your information... I eyeballed it all too and I did fine. Okay, except maybe the wheel mount uprights and the chair as I wanted to make sure both were on there straight. The rest is easy to eyeball though without worries.
Also about the weight... I can't stress enough how glad I was I bought the caster. I could just twirl it around without worrying about my back. LOL
Be glad to know you don't need to build the entire rig though. I am sure you can handle the accessoires when doing it at your own pace that day. At least the keyboard and mouse should be doable, even if you're drunk.![]()

Same... I eyeballed everything except the wheel deck and the seat alignment with the wheel. But then a couple months later, broke down and measured everything out. Turned out, I was only off by millimeters, maybe a full centimeter in one spot, but I was definitely surprised at how accurate it was.![]()
