Running from a to b and back.
No really, I called it DHL simulator for a reason. But it plays surprisingly well because the controls are complex but intuitive and engaging. But if you're looking for action packed gameplay, this is not for you.

Given a few reviews I've read so far, it sounds weird to say the least.
Rock the controller back and forth to calm down a baby strapped to the body of your character all the time after it has been scared by whatever can happen... Yeah right. Not weird at all, right?

Bought this last week. Nice gadget, works very well and supports playing downloaded game image files via USB stick so effectively any C64 game ever made can be played on it. The joystick is quite crappy, unfortunately, so getting an additional one that is hopefully closer to the original Arcade joysticks.

I hope loading times are close to reality? For the sake of immersion.

Not really, but some actually mimick a loading process with the "LOAD"",8,1 prompt abd flashing screen border and all that. It just takes a few seconds instead of minutes. Other games just insta-load from flash memory. Which means missing the loading music, so I have to play that via a SIDplayer on my phone

I bought the same system US version two months ago.
and I found an On-line repository of over 25,000 C64 game rom images.
I had to download an updated firmware and Flash the Mini C64 to the latest version.
That added USB keyborad support.
and a new USB loading menu.
The Game Pads work for most of the games..
just have to figure out how the buttons are mapped.
Also a USB attached Keyboard allows you to use the Keys as a joy pad.
USB loading works great for the game rom images that are compatible.
you can have 100's of games on the USB drive.
Been having fun trying them out. Many of them I never Heard of before, some ( many ) of them don't work,
because the game image still contains the Original Game protection.
Sadly one of my Favorites doesn't ( Skate or Die )

Yeah the disk/ROM images are hit or miss. Somehow I had assumed that they would all be 'original' game files, but of course they are mostly cracks and in case of copy protection it's the only way to play them. I still feel somewhat guilty playing those cracked games, even though all of these companies don't exist anymore.

I just bought this i5 9300h/GTX 1650 laptop as my otg machine
It was a bargain here with the pre black friday sale price.

Not the best screen but for my needs the specs are great.
I know I could have waited for actual BF sales but I needed to spend a $1000 in store credit by tomorrow or it would have been void.

After a fairly forced 6-month hiatus, I've finally caught up on all the blurays I would have bought in that time. Next step is to buy a bluray player to play them on (gave the old one away to a friend - was an OPPO one BTW), so I should be adding a Panasonic DP-UB820 to the shopping list by the end of the week.
The Lego Movie 2
Stan & Ollie
Vice
The Mule
Green Book
A Private War
Captain Marvel
Alita Battle Angel
Chernobyl
Us
Shazam
Avengers Endgame 4K
John Wick Chapter 3
Long Shot
Toy Story 4
Midsommar
Also ordered a Netgear GS108Tv2 managed 8-port gigabit switch ready for the new NAS unit I need at the new place, so that I can aggregate the 2 LAN ports on the NAS. The NAS (most likely the QNAP TS-451+) and the drives (probably WD Red Pro) will follow later, I needed a switch anyway so grabbed this one whilst it was a bit cheaper than usual.
Also about to order one of these, something I've been meaning to get a bottle of for a long time (just an RD in general, not this particular vintage). Had a glass of one of the 90s releases a number of years ago and that was nectar. I have an absolute weakness for some champagnes and Bollinger is one of them.
