The wife once sent me out to buy nappies, unfortunately the store was right across the Ford dealership.
It was the time the Focus MK2 launched... I came home with a signed contract for a new car.
Our Fiesta was only 2 years old at that time.
Fortunately she eventually understood we needed a bigger car with our family expanding.

Finally back up and running, and I Love this new space! It was a pain in the butt, but I'm glad I did it. Well worth it. LED lighting goes in this weekend, then it's time to tidy up those wires and find some pics to frame for the walls.

Well I went for a Soundbar but even Im not an audiophile, the sound of a Soundbar is not something I prefer.
So I decided to put out my wallet again and I bought,
a Denon AVR-X2600H and 2 Dali Oberon 7 Floorstanding speakers. As a start for the 7.2 surround configuration I want.
First I need to save some money again. Lol.

Nice! I have a pair of Bowers & Wilkins that look very similar, just in black. I'd take your amp over my Pioneer, though.

Thanks. I’ve listen to the B&W as well but found the Oberons nicer for my ears.

My Denon amp has been superb so I will just say "good choice!" . I don't have the space here - the perils of old house design - to get the full surround sound going, so just having to make do with a 5.1.4 setup. I cannot rate highly enough the "good lord!" factor that the height speakers give (mine are, co-incidentally, Dali speakers, mated to B&W front/centre/rear and a SVS sub)

So as not to be too far off-topic, despite the impending lockdown meaning I'll be unlikely to take the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag out much, I spotted a deal that was too good to pass up. Karcher K4 Premium with the patio and car kit (though the car stuff won't go near the Jag, truth be told, I already have a decent foam adapter) for nearly half the RRP. Yeah, I'll take that thank you.

I didn’t bought a Soundbar. I was on the scout for a Soundbar.

I looked at many but in the end I planed to go for the Samsung Q90R. I’m used to sit in the sound so to speak, surrounded by the sound. Hence the surround lol.
When I listened to different soundbars, they did not came close to what I already have at home. (My old samsung surround set). I really planned to buy a Soundbar but after listening to real surrounds sets I got a big smile on my face. So even I said I don’t need a new Surround set anymore, I changed my mind.
I want to complete my new set with Dolby Atmos. soundbars do pretent to have Dolby Atmos but when you listen to an Atmos Soundbar it comes no where near a real Dolby Atmos configuration.
Other thing is, the amazing sound which the Dali Oberons produce is so far ahead on what a Soundbar can produce...
I hear things in music I never heard.

They're no substitute for a decent amp and speakers , As said already Denon are great amps I have one thats 10 years old and still going strong. And yeah atmos is a bit of a gimmick in soundbars.

    The Upgrade Saga Continues🤣🤣🤣

Bought some New Seat L shaped Brackets and installed Seat Sliders so I could mount the Buttkickers Directly under the seat instead of on the rear of the seat bar(They would Not fit under the seat with the Sim Lab Seat mounts because of the Outward Curve at the bottom of the seat mount) Buttkicker feel Improved alot!!! I can clearly feel the Difference between Right and Left Curbs, Bumps and Impacts.

The Brackets are Aluminum and are Insanely thick and have a Very Hefty weight to them... Not 1 Bit of Flex!!
