Remapping wheel buttons to work in control settings

I have been using my mouse, mostly, to navigate the menus. I have mapped 2 of my mouse buttons to "Esc" and "I" because I keep messing with the FFB settings and the button to press to go in that menu is "I", that's how bad it is...!

But i m kinda lazy lately and don't want to move my hands at all, so I am using the wheel to navigate the menus. The problem is, I don't see a way to re-map the wheel buttons so I can hit "I" from the wheel. I have tried the Logitech Profiler and made one of the buttons to "I", but it doesn't work in-game.

Any ideas on how I can do that? If i need external software, I m not doing it, just for one button press. But it would be good to know if it's possible.

No one knows how to fix this? All PC users use the mouse for this type of menu navigation?
