What planet is this game set on?

I was just wondering how much gravity has been put in this game ?
When cars crash into the air they should contine with the momentum and speed instead they stop and seem to get pulled to the ground.
This cant be just me who this annoys , have a look on youtube at some Iracing crashes , they look so much more realistic and must almost hurt .
Are SMS planning a update for this like the tyre update?

Like this? They sure do keep the momentum and speed.

That's funny ! Maybe a little bit to much momentum .
PCars needs only a little less gravity .

pCARS has a system that pulls the cars back down quite quickly after they leave the ground (more specifically, the cars seem to carry on to the apex with normal physics and after that they're pulled down quicker). The reason given for this was to prevent silly things from happening when people did silly things in the game (like two cars crashing head-on at 200 mph, or in other words a 400 mph head on crash), the cars started flying around too much in extreme situations like that.

I personally don't think it's a good reason to implement a system like this that can affect normal racing on a track like Nordschleife, but it's there anyway for now. At least it's not an accidental bug, but a purposeful "feature".

Not seen those before, that first one is amazing, weirdest bit is that the car eventually settles at the end.

I think the gravity issue in pCars 1 was a design decision to prevent exactly those kind of glitches, but they maybe went a little too far. PCars 2 already has much improved in-air and crash physics compared to pCars1 and it didn't seem to be a massive amount of work to modify what was in the code, so who knows, it may even hit pCars 1 one day. I agree it definitely breaks the immersion a little as the rest of the physics is so good.

That was the CLR, not the CLK.
