    There is an issue with Time Trial mode on Rouen Short:

    System: PS4
    Mode: Time Trial
    Track: Rouen Short
    Turn: left hander before turn #4 (Virage du Nouveau Monde), the cobblestone hairpin
    Issue: Although all four wheels are on tarmac, the lap gets invalidated because of "cutting the track". The issue turns up in lap 3. The first two are valid. Once the issue occurs, it persists until user restarts the session
    Car used: Classic Lotus 51
    Work-arounds:
    1. If you wannt to place a time in the leaderboards, you need to do it during the first two laps. Unfortunately tires work best beyond that, starting in lap3 ca.
    2. Stay on the right side of the track

    For me also the best DLC so far. Loving it! Massive grin all the way around those classic tracks with classic cars here. I would really appreciate further content of that kind in the future, too.

    I did forget to add also, that although the handling of the Lotus Indycar is quite good, I have to agree with those that say it's a little out of place without having an oval to drive on. I know it can be adapted to drive on twisty tracks, but there is only so much leeway to adjusting the two gears it has and working within the power band.

    A couple of problems I have noticed; Firstly on Rouen, in single player against the computer AI, if you have even one of the AI behind you when approaching the hairpin 9 times out of ten they overshoot and crash into you as they seem to be going WAY too fast to take the corner ... on the first lap of a race, it is ALWAYS a guaranteed pile-up.

    The other problem is the AI speed. I was racing the Lotus 51 on Rouen Short, against AI set at 100% who were all also driving the Lotus 51. I was consistently at least 5 seconds a lap quicker than them, which obviously should not be the case!!!! Now I don't know if this is to do with the aforementioned hairpin issue (the AI always seeming to overshoot it or crashing at it), or if it's to do with the player getting the updated tire model in Patch 6, but the AI hasn't got it??? I don't know, I don't work for SMS but there either a problem or combination of problems there ... although I'm sure they will sort this SMSoon ...

    Great tracks - very different.

    They highlight that I dont really like all the fake advertisements on the other tracks - these add an authenticity / certain ambience that I like a lot more.

    Cars are a handful !

    Anyone whinging about the cost or suggesting the tracks are rehashes either need their head examined or are just plain out to troll..

    I had the invalidation happen on my first lap, but I continued driving to lap 7 or 8, if I approach the kink on the right side of the track and stay right until just before the hairpin the lap is validated.

    My best lap from the session was around lap 6, so for me, it was not a case of "no point in carrying on the session" after lap 3.

    Ok, Ill retest tonight. I had the impression the first two laps were always valid, but maybe I just chose a different racing line with colder tires. Thanks for the info!
