Push past it, it will go to 100 you just have to push through that stop at 96 then press A

Your wheel will be fine. You need to turn it further to get to 100. Don't forget when you do the 90, you want the # on screen to say 900.

I only turn my wheel to the natural stop at 96, push it further doesn't feel right to me to me, and i cant feel any difference at all if i force it to 100, my wheel feels and works just fine even when i stop calibrate at the natural stop at 96, so i don't see the point to do this at all, why overstress the mecanic if you don't get any favor to do so ?

You need to push the wheel past 96 to get 100 so the game knows your wheel has 900 degrees of rotation, otherwise it will only think you have 96% of this, ie 864 degrees of rotation.
