    Hi guys..
    Just a quick word... Fixed packet lengths... !!
    The variable lengths between the ESP and Teensy are using '<' & '>' as start and end, but the float data especially, is including a bracket, mid-packet and dropping the packet out early..
    I'd given up on odo and fuel because of the packet corruption, but I've just changed it all to a fixed 26 byte length and now it's sweet... Really smooth, compared to the odd spikes I was getting..
    Started to add a 1.5" Oled for speed fuel and Odo, and altho I ran out of time, it's looking good...

    Luv Chrisie.. xx

    Hi Chrisie,

    great work, again . I just get my Teensy and after I finished my own box, I will concentrate me on the ESP .

    Hi Memoric...

    Yeah, just sending fixed packets, fixed a lot of issues.
    I plugged the ESP in, and watched the RAW packet data on the serial monitor. I knew it was going to look like garbage, showing 'random' ASCII chars, but was caught out, cuz some of that random ASCII was '>' which the Teensy was rightly reading as EndOfPacket, only it wasn't EOP..

    Fuel level and Odo seemed to like doing it the most, but that's all history now...

    Good luck your end..

    Luv Chrisie.. xx

    very interested in this project the work you have done is simply amazing. i am looking forward to seeing more of the development of this project. just subscribed to your channel.

    i will definitely give a shout out to you and memoric on my youtube channel. cyclicscooby for your wonderful work on this project and memoric for helping me out with your arduino buttonbox sketch.

    i was able to create my own sketch from what you created, plus or minus some commands for my own project.. which i will post if you like. just need to add comment on some of the commands. great job..

    i am also a newb at arduino. just picked it up about a month ago, and i have to say i am hooked. and the gratification of making something work off just an idea is beyond words. i build mods in my youtube channel. just released one today.
    memoric your initial sketch was my inspiration. initially i was going to do a keyboard hack then i happen to come across
    your past post. the rest is (well,history); lol see what i did their. still learning.

    i cant post link to youtube because i am a new member. just search

    "2727clos" and i will come up. thx again guys. keep up the great work.

    hey guys any news on this project?

    cyclicscooby, have you thought of posting your progress on your youtube channel, with a donation link. i think this will help you out with your project?

    memoric77, just finished my sketch for implementing keyboard press with rotation of encoders. encoders also have individual led that blink with rotation and blink with encoder button press.

    Hello

    I get the UDP data over a LAN controller with an Arduino AVR.
    This works perfectly, I see the 1376bytes data (track data 1389bytes)!
    i want to show the gear and rpm's on a led bar.

    But I do not understand the structure. in my data comes
    1.byte always hex $ CB
    2.byte always hex $ 04
    3.byte changes to 0, 4, 8, c, 10, 14, and so on

    But where do I recognize the data for the packet differentiation?

    (like the code from cyclicscooby on page 4)
    Char packetIsConnectInfo = 'C0';
    Char packetIsPartInfo = 'P0'; .. P2
    Char packetIsDash = 'D0' ... D9
    Char packetIsSusp = 'S1';
    Char packetIsMotion = 'M1';

    Thank you for any help
