Thrustmaster 458 Spider Wheel for Xbox One on PC

    Hi all,

Just picked up a Thrustmaster 458 Spider wheel for Xbox One at the store and connected it to my Windows 10 PC, drivers installed fine. Got on Project Cars to set it up under controls and it's not listed in the wheels but the regular Thrustmaster 458 wheel is listed but none of the controls work when I try to set it up. Obviously this wheel is probably not on the list for a reason but if anyone knows how I could still get it to work I'd greatly appreciate it

The Spider wheel does not work with PC. It is for Xbox One only. I don't know what you mean by "Drivers installed fine" because there are no drivers for this device for windows, at least not official ones. I'm currently looking to find some homebrew drivers that may enable this wheel to work.
Apparently I'm a Muppet Fanboy! ...whatever that means.

I returned the wheel but when I plugged it into my PC it did say installing drivers and the driver name was 458 Spider which got me excited that it was going to work but later on when I went to the thrustmaster website it wasn't listed so my computer recognized it but not as a controller.

Some years later I've got the same problem. Even more confusing is Forza Horizon 3 is 100% plug and play with this wheel.

It's because it treats it as a gamepad. If you were to switch to something like a Logitech G29, your experience with Forza would be completely different (in a good way).
