    Why do I get cut track penalties..

    Whenever I have Flags & Penalties set to OFF in the Gameplay settings?

    I very seldom race online, so I don't see how it could be an online only thing.

    Meaning it only affects ONLINE races. You cannot disable flags/penalties for offline races. I'll ask.

    Cut track notices will still be applied. But afaik you won't get punished or DQ'ed for jump starts, crashing into AI at ridiculous speeds and so on.
