Why the BMW 2002 Stanceworks Edition for this week's Community Event?

    Dear SMS,

I love Bannochbrae, it's a great circuit but why of all the cars from the Stanceworks Track Expansion why choose the BMW 2002 Stanceworks Edition? I suppose I should be glad the "take the bull by the horns" hint didn't mean we had to try and take Mazda the MX-5 RadBul Formula Drift around a track. Back to the BWM 2002, it's a tail happy monster and the lack of ABS is punishing on my shitty brake pedal. Okay it's an iconic car, but it's now where near as much fun to drive, for me, as the other choices that could have been made.

If we're going to get one Community Event with a classic vehicle, let's at least have something modern to go along side it for those of us that don't have any nostalgia for the older vehicles, thanks.

Project Cars' demographic has changed to 40-70 year olds, deal with it Project Cars 2 will come with a cane.

Anyway, I'm sure there will be more events to come which suit you better.

I think of all the new DLC cars, the 2002 is the best suited to Bannochbrae.

Hah, I'm only a couple of years off the lower end of that. If the trend continues let's hope Project CARS stays the classic one.

Or, you know, just let the fans of older cars have some community events every once in a while since majority of community events are done with modern cars.

Nothing like a car that breaks traction for seemingly no particular reason on a fast sweeping track .

Classic lotus open wheelers are more fun, also that tracks is so bumpy that cars without DF spend more time flying than on the ground
