Yeah, that's a pretty accurate description. The reason the Zakspeed is so sluggish at lower revs is probably because it only has a teeny tiny 1.4 liter engine and gigantic turbo, whereas the 320 has a 2 liter engine with a much more reasonable turbo.

And the rear suspension on the Capri being a live axle doesn't do it any favors in the corners, it can be tricky to get the springs balanced nicely for cornering and heave motions. =)

I only know and can therefore compare the E21 with another one from a GTL-mod and there it's much, much more of a beast and quite more difficult to drive than the one we've in PC but that's the same with other "slower" cars like the Escort Mk1 for example. I've always thought that PC cars are actually quite tame compared to their counterparts in other games but I'm not really sure if they actually have it right while other games exaggerate a little too much simply for "spectaculary" reasons.

One of the biggest failings of sims has historically been making tyres way too slippery and hard to control on the edge, and something the racing drivers who played pCARS during development (not just Ben, Oli and Nic who were actually properly involved with the development but people like Rene Rast and others who got it just because they wanted it) specifically praised was that the feeling of grip was much closer to reality than other sims they'd tried.
