In my experience they do things that can only be interpreted as bad driving (eg: totally missing a turn, going offtrack then returning unsafely and hitting another car; driving way too slowly in certain turns; zig-zagging in braking zones; hitting me in the back even though I braked later than usual; turning into my car even though I have the line and I'm ahead of them; etc).
    2) I don't buy that either. I've been rammed both on the inside & outside of the same turns. I always choose my side well before reaching the braking zone in order to make myself predictable and thus make it easier for the AI to avoid crashing into my car and still get rammed in the back regularly.
    3) imo the alternative is to do what games like rF, AMS, & GTR2 do and have separate sliders for AI pace & aggression. I'm playing at difficulty = 100, it seems that increasing AI difficulty increases their speed & aggression which is not ideal imo.

I had the issues I mentioned happened in DTM 2016 races and even more often in FR-X17 races. Maybe my game is glitched, who knows.
The free period ends in 2 days so I probably won't have time to train the adaptive AI, but I appreciate all the suggestions.
IDK know what to tell you, then. That's not my experience. Yes sometimes the AI makes mistakes, but it's my understanding they were programmed to be fallible and can be pressured into making mistakes. I wouldn't call that a problem, though--seems realistic. I just don't have trouble with ramming. I do recall having trouble with the AI when I first started playing RRE, but, like I said, the things I mentioned fixed that. I haven't had any trouble since. I also know others that adjusted like that and said it helped.

An aggression slider would be nice, though. Should become standard with sims.

I've got quite a lot of time in R3E against the Ai, I don't use adaptive but 107 % and I haven't seen this bad behavior talked about here, in actual fact I've always found the Ai the be rather human like! The biggest issue I had with Ai was always my fault, if I hit them from behind, even softly I would spin but that has been fixed a few updates ago and now Ai is really good.

Try increasing or decreasing the Steering Rate until you get a more turning ratio you're comfortable with. I wouldn't worry so much about how it looks visually, as long as you can go from lock to lock without too much rotation.

    Hello,
free content finish can't testing those car anymore :-(
The wheel was set to 480° on each car and almost max angle steering lock, but feeling not having the grip, like on the 2 last pictures.
The wheel is almost full lock and the car not want to turn more.
My time with the Prosche on Road America was 2.09.3
I tested basic free cars (silhouette) still got visualy more turning radius like before.(450° higher lock angle).

    The dead zone in ffb

When i launch the profiler is not that much

    Attachment 278728

    Attachment 278729

But after loading a game, and sometimes 10° each side

    Attachment 278730

    Attachment 278731
