Yeah I think I'm going Fanatec DD when it drops.... Next Friday is the Day when the DD Specs or Pre Orders start <--- Im hoping its pre orders!!! Long as its within 1.5 --> 2k total I'm in ---> 2k is the high side estimate because i have Wheel rims and Pedals so I'm Hoping 1.5k for the Big Boy base alone.

Im sure this is what morpwr would say to you about going DD over your V2.5 , lol

Would love to buy one but as I’m not a hardcore sim racer I don’t spend that amount money on a wheel. I won’t try a DD either because I could get spoiled and want one after all. Lol.
If you don’t try it you won’t miss it neither.

I was trying to use that mentally about VR for years but finally in December tried it and have since been thinking why did I wait so long , lol but new pedals are my next big expense as motion money is going to my Wife

Of course. I know what you mean. I had the same with VR. Had VR on the PS4. Bought a 3500 euro’s pc just for VR an Pcars. Whish I did earlier. But VR was a complete new thing. With A wheel it is not. Ofcourse a DD is much better than a Belt driven one. Both are able to steer. It can’t compared with VR which was a complete new experience for me.

I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore sim racer either. I don't have 4-5 hours a day to play but most days I try to get at least a couple hours in. Its my hobby and my save my sanity time. I know a lot of people don't understand how it can be relaxing but it is. You don't think about anything else because you need to concentrate on driving so instead of thinking about the 20 things I needed to get done or what I need to get done at work tomorrow its just that one thing im focused on. So if it makes the experience better or more realistic I don't mind spending the money. People spend way more money on stupid stuff.lol
