Yep, great driving track, not sure how well it works for racing... you could watch some old fart driving around it giving his early impressions...

This is coming from a rF2 dedicated player who is loosing hope and feel like rF2 is sinking into a deep cold dark ocean!
I'm so much happier with the way S3 have been going with R3E and find their pricing to be alot easier to cope with compared to rF2 and their iRacing type pricing even though the base game doesn't have the depth to justify that pricing.
They are making progress, but again, considering how long rF2 has been out (about the same as R3E funnily enough) it's taking a long time to get into some sort of usable shape.
Their individual cars are actually about the same as R3E.. with liveries.. their packs seem a little more expensive as do the tracks. Having said that, 8 of the packs are 50% off currently, as is the base game.

(I could post a video about some old fart giving his first impressions of the newly released Circuit d'Azur and the BMW M2 CS.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEbLSkHFwLE)

disclaimer.. I'm not paid to shill for Studio 397 either!

It's certainly not cheap is it? I just had a look on the Steam sale and the DTM 2015 experience is £15 even with a 25% reduction. It looked quite interesting until I realised that you only get 3 cars that are 5 years old and no tracks or anything else. I had to read the small print a few times because I thought surely you get more than that for the price, but it doesn't look like it.

Some months ago I bought the "everything you can get" package for just under 100 €. Considering the base game is for free, I paid about as much as you had to pay for PC2 plus all DLCs - if you bought it all for the regular prices when things were released that is.

Ignore steam and go straight to the Raceroom store (http://game.raceroom.com/store), the 2015 DTM is a fiver on that..

as I said earlier, the only way to buy it "cheap" is to go big and get the Premium pack. Just comparing the Pro and Premium pack, the Pro is about half the cost, but has around a fifth the cars and just over a quarter the tracks!

Yeah the cheapest way is to get VRP and then spend it on the Raceroom store itself and not Steam

Indeed, I never buy things on Steam for RRE. I buy 5000 VRP points and when There is new content I pay it with VRP point in the RaceRoom store.

Me too. Kind of bummed I didn't get 10000VRP though because the premium pack doesn't include content added after it. Although for 55 that isn't such a big problem. But buying content after that becomes a bit weird. I can still buy the medium pack(don't know it's name). It will only add one Porsche for me, still at a discount though. There is also the GT4 and GT3 packs, but GT3 amounts to one Porsche for me and GT4 is one Porsche and the M4 GT4. Buying both I would still miss the Porsche GT2 and M1 Group 4 and none has the track Ningbo(?) track. So I'm not convinced I'll but extra content for a while because that doesn't look appealing at the moment. I would have preferred being able to re-buy the premium pack with them taking into account what I already have. But it's greyed out for me.

But I do want the M1 and M4... Hahaha

Cheapest way to get the GT3 Porker/GT4 Porker and GT4 BMW and M1 Group 4 is to Google Raceroom GT3/GT4/Group 4 pack and add what you don't have, it will give you all the liveries as well, I paid just over 2000VRP for all of that plus the GT2 Porker and Ningbo track.
