    Time progression

When doing a 24 hour race & having the time progression at say 60x is the timer in the bottom left hand corner meant to count down quicker too?

Race length = how long the race is
Time progression = how fast the visual 24hr cycle goes by (eg: how fast day turns into night visually, race length is unaffected)

I think what I mean is that if you start a 24 hour race at 2pm and put time progression on 60x, 7 minutes later it's dark but the 24 hour countdown timer isn't counting down in partnership with how dark it is ie if it's dark it should say that I have about 12 hours to go but says that I've got 23 hours & 52 minutes left. Hope it makes sense.

If the race length is set to 24h, then you do have 23 h 52 m left to go.

Yes but does the countdown timer speed up in line with how dark it's darking. Can you adjust the speed of the countdown timer? I know you can speed up day to night etc.

You're confusing race length with time progression, those are different independent settings like I explained in my previous post.
If you set time progression to 60x you'll have the full visual 24hr cycle in 24 minutes, race length is not affected by time progression. If you want the race to last 24 minutes you'll have to adjust race length.

Race start time is 2pm. Time progression set at x60. Gets darker 5 minutes or so into the race which would be 8 or 9 o'clock but the countdown timer still says that I have 23 hours left when actually it should be saying that I approx 17 hours left.

Easy way to set race length & time progression:

1440/race length in minutes = time progression speed
