    rFactor 2 anyone?

I dont know why rFactor 2 did not get on my radar sooner ?
How many people still play this ?
Here's a poorly shot video of the Ai around Long Beach . Even though this is a Mod Track and Car combo the Ai behave remarkably well with some really clean and tight passes .
I just started the race and pulled over and jumped into the monitor only to find the Ai passing and going for gaps all over the place without contact .Really impressive .
Im running @ 3840x2160 with AA settings that push my card right to its limit (4X sparse grid and 4xMSAA and plus FXAA) . This is all needed to get this game to look good . Without it , it looks really bad but once enabled it is quite good . No more flickering
If you haven't tried it i would really suggest a try . But definitely max out the AA in Inspector .
    Get into it .

Big Dad have you updated to the New GPU Driver??? If Not i recommend doing soo... Its Really Good... MY FPS Stays Pinned to 60 and will Not Move... I bench marked in Dirt Rally with All Ultra settings a Few times and the FPS Diff is less than 1 FPS Diff 59.94!!! IMO Its the best 10 series GPU Driver to date.

Yes i know im SLI but it should work the same for you with properly adjusted settings... Higher FPS with Higher settings.

Also Because we are using 4k you should Be able to Use Lower MSAA and AA settings... The Pixels are sooo Small that Higher Settings Make No Big Diff with 4k and GPU runs Cooler and better Because of Reduced work load...Setting these lower also Gives better FPS with No Visual Quality Loss.

1080p the MSAA and AA make a Bigger impact on picture Quality.

Nah Man , i haven't updated from 372.90 because it seems to be stable and cant be bothered reconfiguring all my Driver and inspector settings again unless there is a decent fps increase on temp drop .
My fps stay @ 60 constant as long as i play with settings but for rFactor 2 all the AA settings are needed because even @ 4k the aliasing is shocking .
Adding mods to rFactor is sooo so easy through the Steam workshop . One click installation and the amount of really cool content is amazing .
Adding Mods to AMS was a fair bit more involved but still worth it .
If your worried about downloading stuff from various sources going through Steam workshop i probably the safest and cleanest way possible .
And IMHO rFactor 2 and then AMS are without a doubt the most real and raw Sims available . Leaves all else way Way behind . Just look at the Ai in my first post , that along says a lot . Jump to 1:20 for best action .

I've got heaps of game profiles in the control panel and inspector and when i update drivers they get wiped to default and need to be reconfigured , if there was a fps gain i would do it but from all reports it stays about the same . I will keep my eye on them as they update though .

I Noticed a Slight FPS increase and Overal better performance.... I cant say how Much FPS went up because im using a TV and Have V-sync enabled... But i can say that it Never Moves below 60FPS Now Not even with ultra Settings, ThunderSrorm and 20+ Cars on the Track.... Before Over 20 Cars would cause FPS to dip to 55 in some spots depending on How Many Cars were around Me.... I will Try adding More cars ro see just how Many it can Handle before FPS start to Drop Constantly... also with More cars Make GPU Run Hotter thats why i always limited cars to 16... New Driver GPU Runs pretty Cool No Matter what.

I just cant get back into pCars any more . I think my 400 hours on PS4 with about 200 in the ffb menu's and restarting from crashes and corrupted data really killed it for me , So having some other Sims that are so much different than it makes me very happy .
I am looking forward to pCars 2 and the improvements but with rfactor 2 getting a huge overhaul but keeping the exciting physics makes me more excited .
As for driver updates , another thing that concerns me is will they support older games or will performance start to drop off . So now ive got one that works really well i will keep a saved copy for later use (if needed) and will update to a newer one when they increase the performance more .
